Financial Management / Comptroller

Under the direction of the Comptroller, the Financial Management Support Line is responsible for a wide range of organizational support functions for our clients including Accounting, Labor and Payroll Analysis, Financial Reporting, System Operations, and Budget Formulation and Execution. 

In order to align with the overall mission of the Department of the Navy (DON), NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic will be transitioning operational funding from Navy Working Captial Fund (NWCF) to the General Fund (GF) model starting Fiscal Year 2020.  The diagram below illustrates how NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Financial Management will be structured under the GF model.




Take a closer look at some high-level information on what the Financial Management Community as a whole is doing to better serve our customers and nation. Better known as the DON Financial Management Transformation Initiative, the primary goals to achieve this mission are Audit, Budgetary Reform and Consolidation of Systems. Top leadership has set the tone and is requiring enterprise-wide support and commitment in order to achieve mission success.
