Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic awarded T.E. Davis Construction Co., a small business based out of Jacksonville, North Carolina, an $8,854,500 for firm-fixed-price task order under a multiple award construction contract for interior and exterior repairs to Buildings 523 and 527 at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
The work to be performed provides for removal of all asbestos and lead containing materials, replacement of all floor, wall and ceiling surfaces, and painting all new and previously painted interior and exterior surfaces.
The task order also provides for replacement of architectural asphalt shingle roof system, replacement of the electrical, plumbing, fire protection and mechanical systems, and incidental related work.
Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by November 2019.
Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Marine Corps) contract funds in the amount of $8,854,500 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
