Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded Cromwell Architects Engineers Inc., of Little Rock, Arkansas, a maximum $25,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architect-engineering contract on June 2 for architectural and engineering services for Navy Exchange Retail and other Navy Exchange Service Command facilities in the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) area of responsibility (AOR) worldwide.
The work to be performed provides for architectural and engineering services for Navy lodge facilities (lodges, hotels, motels) and Navy exchange facilities such as: retail stores, convenience stores, uniform centers, beauty and barber shops, optical shops, auto service centers, flower shops, laundry/dry cleaning/tailor shops, coin operated laundries, automated auxiliary retail outlets, snack bars and food courts.
Work will be performed in Northeast (53 percent); Southwest (15 percent); Southeast (12 percent); Midwest (8 percent); Northwest (7 percent); and other activities within the NAVFAC AOR (5 percent), and is expected to be completed by June 2021.
Non-appropriated contract funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
No task orders are issued at this time. Future task orders will be primarily funded by non-appropriated funds (Navy).
