Contract Awarded for Basic Facility Requirements Development

NORFOLK, Va. - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded small business Makers Architecture and Urban Design LLP, certified Women’s Business Enterprise and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise  of Seattle, Washington, a maximum $30,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, architect-engineering contract to develop basic facility requirements.

Work performed shall provide for developing basic facility requirements documents, performing asset evaluations, and developing current condition floor plans. 

Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities predominantly in the U.S., but also worldwide. 

The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of September 2021.  Fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.  Future task orders will be primarily funded by operation and maintenance (Navy).  No task orders have been at this time. 

The Navy Electronic Commerce Online website competitively procured the contract with four proposals received.  The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-16-D-6007).
