NORFOLK, Va. - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded small business ATAC of Santa Clara, a maximum $8,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract to develop and provide upgrades to the naval aviation simulation model system at Naval and Marine Corps air installations.
Work performed will provide for airfield, airspace and range analyses of existing and/or proposed operations at activities. Performance also includes development and compilation of information on mission changes for the Navy’s Air Installations Compatible Use Zones and National Environmental Policy Act requirements.
Work will be performed at various Navy and Marine Corps facilities and other government facilities predominantly in the U.S., but also worldwide.
The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of September 2021. Fiscal 2016 operation and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $5,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. There are no issued task orders at this time. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operation and maintenance (Navy) funds.
This contract was procured as a sole-source acquisition under statutory author 10 U.S. Code 2304 (c)(1). Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N62470-16-D-6010).
