Contract Awarded for Lejeune High School Addition and Renovation


NORFOLK, Va. – Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded Walsh Federal LLC, Chicago, Illinois firm-fixed-price contract for addition and renovation of Lejeune High School at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune.

The work to be performed provides for construction of additions, renovations, and partial demolition of Lejeune High School to create a high school on the existing 75 acre campus.

Work will be performed in Jacksonville, North Carolina, and is expected to be completed by March 2020. Fiscal 2015 military construction (defense-wide) contract funds in the amount of $40,797,000 are obligated on this award and will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), Atlantic, Norfolk, Virginia, is the contracting activity (N40085-17-C-8322).  NAVFAC Atlantic competitively procured the contract via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, receiving four proposals.
