NORFOLK, Va. – Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded IAP Worldwide Services Inc., of Cape Canaveral, Fla., a $7,141,902 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for base operations support services at Naval Support Activity Souda Bay, Marathi Pier, Malaxa Site, and North Atlantic Treaty Organization Missile Firing Installation (NAMFI) Barracks November 29, 2017.
The work to be performed provides for all labor, supervision, management, tools, materials, equipment, facilities, transportation, incidental engineering, and other items necessary to provide for public safety (harbor security), supply services, galley services, and housing (unaccompanied and family housing and Navy Gateway Inns and Suites).
It also provides for facilities support (facility management, facility investment, custodial services, pest control, integrated solid waste management and grounds maintenance and landscaping), utilities (wastewater and water base support vehicles and equipment), and NAMFI lodging services.
Work will be performed in Chania, Crete, Greece, and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
The maximum dollar value including the base period and seven option years is $56,545,022. No funds will be obligated at time of award. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $1,082,892 for recurring work will be obligated on individual task orders issued during the base period.
