NORFOLK, Va. - Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Atlantic awarded a maximum amount $45,000,000 indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for services to support the Navy’s Public Works Business Line to Cardno-Amec Foster Wheeler Public Works JV, Charlottesville, Virginia.
The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to: the preparation of reports and studies, manuals and other written documentation, conducting field surveys, inspections, testing, commissioning/re-commissioning, inventory assessments and logistics management, system analyses, productivity analyses, business case analyses, supply chain management support (including logistic analyses), developing initiatives, developing and/or performing processes improvements, preparing training manuals and delivering training, researching and recommending tools and processes to increase efficiencies, cost control studies, and management of public works assets.
Work will be performed primarily within the NAVFAC Atlantic area of responsibility which includes Virginia (60 percent); California (10 percent); Florida (10 percent); Hawaii (10 percent); and Naples, Italy (10 percent). The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months with an expected completion date of August 2023. Fiscal 2018 operations and maintenance (Navy) contract funds in the amount of $10,000 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year.
No task orders are being issued at this time. Future task orders will be primarily funded by operations and maintenance (Navy). This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website, with three proposals received.
