Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii awarded an indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity Multiple Award Construction Contract (MACC) for design-bid-build construction projects to four Hawaii women-owned small businesses on April 25. The four companies on the MACC – Amethyst Builders, LLC, Ewa Beach, Hawaii; Concept 2 Completion, LLC, Kailua, Hawaii; D&D Construction, Inc., Waipahu, Hawaii; and MEI Corp., Hauula, Hawaii – will be issued task orders in the range of $5,000 to $1,000,000 with a not to exceed amount of $48 million in total for all four contracts.
“This award provides another valuable contracting tool to deliver critical construction services and vital support to our customers at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam and Marine Corps Base Hawaii,” said Capt. All work on the contract will be performed within the NAVFAC Hawaii Area of Responsibility. The term of the contract is not to exceed 60 months, with an expected completion date of April 2024.
The maximum dollar value, including the base period and four option years, is $48,000,000. No task orders have been issued at this time and future task orders will be primarily funded with Operations and Maintenance funds.
This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with 20 proposals received. These four contractors may compete for task orders under the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Hawaii, Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, is the contracting activity.
The work to be performed provides for but is not limited to, new construction, addition, alteration, maintenance, and repair work for the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and various Federal Agencies located in the State of Hawaii.
