PEARL HARBOR (NNS) -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific awarded a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity contract Oct. 29, to ManTech SRS Technologies, Inc., a large business of Fairfax, Va., for architecture-engineering and environmental services.
The contractor will support preparation of military readiness activities documentation, including environmental and operational military range planning documents for Commander, U.S. Pacific Fleet (PACFLT) and other military activities in the Pacific.
"Architecture and engineering services are fundamental to our planning processes, and essential to enabling military readiness," said Commander of NAVFAC Pacific and PACFLT Civil Engineer Rear Adm. Bret Muilenburg. "This contract award unites the expertise of private industry with the training requirements of our military to sustain and strengthen fleet capabilities in the Pacific."
The maximum dollar value of the award is $85 million which includes a combination of the base period and six option years. No task orders are being issued at this time. The term of the contract is not to exceed seven years with an expected completion date of October 2020.
This contract was competitively procured via the Navy Electronic Commerce Online website with seven proposals received.
