SAN DIEGO (NNS) -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest awarded a $20 million contract April 30 to Brady GCE II of San Diego for architect-engineering (A-E) services.
"We at NAVFAC Southwest look forward to utilizing Brady GCE II's proven environmental engineering support services to meet NAVFAC Southwest's mission and to furthermore support the warfighter's needs," said Greg Lorton NAVFAC Southwest Air Quality program manager for Navy Region Southwest.
The A-E services that Brady GCE II will provide include comprehensive environmental responses, understanding of Compensation Liability Act, knowledge in Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, underground storage tank studies and environmental engineering support services at various Navy and Marine Corps installations in California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Utah, and other Department of Defense installations in NAVFAC Southwest's area of responsibility.
The term of the contract is expected to be completed by spring 2019. NAVFAC Southwest is the contracting activity.
