NAPLES, Italy (NNS) -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Southwest Asia (EURAFSWA) awarded an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity job order construction contract for $50 million Sept. 30.
The firm awarded this contract is KBR Services, Inc., Houston, Texas, for construction projects located in areas managed by NAVFAC EURAFSWA.
The work to be performed provides for general building type projects including, but not limited to, incidental design, renovations, repairs, maintenance, replacements, alterations, demolition and NAVFAC Construction Category II, III and IV task for Department of Defense activities.
The majority of the work will be performed in the Djibouti, Africa area, including Camp Lemonnier and Chebelley Air Field.
September 2019 is the scheduled completion date for all of the work. This contract was competitively procured via the Federal Business Opportunities website with 14 proposals received.
No task orders are being issued at this time.
