WASHINGTON (NNS) -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) announced a new update for its award-winning digital publication, Seabee Online, Aug. 25.
Seabee Online, named the best digital publication in the Department of Defense, is also available on a mobile device. Seabee Mobile provides dynamic coverage of Seabee contributions to global security, maritime strategy and humanitarian efforts around the world.
"We are excited about the new update to Seabee Mobile," said Don Rochon, managing editor of Seabee Online. "We've made the user interface easier to follow and added 700 practice questions that Seabees can use to study for their advancement exams. With Seabee Mobile 3.1, you can even record a memo to help you recall important information as you are studying," he added.
Users can easily find articles by units and battalions, whether at homeport or deployed. Then they can share what they like with family and friends via email, Facebook and Twitter, right from the app.
Seabee Mobile 3.1 is now available on Apple Store or Google Play.
