"Improving energy culture is a top priority for us, and this shows we are moving in the right direction. We look forward to sharing best practices so all Navy Region Japan installations can be effective with their energy use and meet secretary of the Navy energy goals."

"We are all working together to meet the president's executive order of 25 percent reduction in energy use over the next 10 years, as well as continuing the Navy's goal of energy security and resiliency for the fleet and warfighter," said Owens.
