SAN DIEGO (NNS) -- Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Southwest Senior Realty Specialist Lacey Barnhill was presented with a command coin from NAVFAC Southwest Commanding Officer Capt. John J. Adametz June 19 for her technical and customer support to NAS Fallon's Readiness and Environmental Protection Initiative (REPI) program also known as the Encroachment Partnering Program.
"She has addressed challenges that have arisen professionally and expeditiously and is constantly looking for new opportunities to strengthen and expand the program," said Ralph Torres, NAVFAC Southwest Asset Management leader.
Barnhill worked with the air station and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) to relieve future encroachment pressures and sustain the mission readiness of NAS Fallon through the completion of nine restrictive use easements in 2016.
