On October 14, 2021, the Department of the Navy (DON) released a Request for Information (RFI) to gather industry’s perspectives on how to best enhance 70 acres+ of ocean-view property located on Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton (MCB Camp Pendleton), the Marine Corps’ pre-eminent West Coast training installation. Twelve non-contiguous sites are currently being considered to host critical infrastructure to meet the energy and water needs of the region and the base’s national defense mission.

The ground breaking was held at the soon to be replaced 10th Marine Regiment headquarters which will be the first of many Hurricane Florence related projects.
