Administrative Record

The Administrative Record (AR) is a collection of documents that have been used or relied upon to select an environmental response action. The AR includes a variety of documents including reports, correspondence, and comments submitted during public comment periods. It serves two purposes:

  • It provides access to site-specific information so that the public may make informed comments to the Navy on the selection of response actions.
  • It serves as the basis for judicial review should a response decision be challenged in court.
     

Note: Some internet browsers do not include Department of Defense (DoD) digital security certificates, which may result in a security warning recommending that the user not proceed. AR documents may contain sensitive information. If a document has sensitive information, when the title is clicked, Point of Contact information appears in lieu of the actual document.
