NAVFAC & ESAMS
It is NAVFAC policy and practice to use the Enterprise Safety and Management System (ESAMS) to run our day to day safety and occupational health program at all levels within our enterprise. NAVFAC uses it for recording OSH training, Mishaps, Good catches, workplace inspections, OSH deficiencies, medical surveillance, respirator fit testing, annual OSH self assessments, contractor incidents, the information for the MPHA program, and now the NAVY licensing program.
ESAMS allows management to go beyond metrics by sharing information among programs, departments, and people, creating a total solution for program management.
