Draft Final Site Management Plan Fiscal Year 2024 Amendment available for review!
In collaboration with the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources, and United States Fish and Wildlife Service, the Navy has prepared the Draft Final Site Management Plan (SMP), Fiscal Year 2024 Amendment that summarizes the progress of the cleanup and anticipated schedule of upcoming activities for the Vieques Restoration Program.
The Navy is soliciting public comments on the Draft Final SMP FY2024 Amendment during a 30-day public comment period (August 24, 2023 through September 22, 2023).
The public is encouraged to submit their comments to Kevin Cloe at kevin.r.cloe.civ@us.navy.mil no later than September 22, 2023.

En colaboración con la Agencia de Protección Ambiental de los Estados Unidos, el Departamento de Recursos Naturales y Ambientales de Puerto Rico, y el Servicio de Pesca y Vida Silvestre de los Estados Unidos, la Marina ha preparado el Borrador Final de la Enmienda del Plan de Manejo del Sitio (SMP) para el Año Fiscal 2024, el cual resume el progreso de la limpieza y el calendario anticipado de las próximas actividades para el Programa de Restauración de Vieques.
La Marina solicita comentarios del público sobre el Borrador Final de la Enmienda del SMP FY2024 durante el período de comentarios públicos de 30 días (24 de agosto de 2023 hasta el 22 de septiembre de 2023).
Se exhorta al público a enviar sus comentarios a Kevin Cloe por correo electrónico a: kevin.r.cloe.civ@us.navy.mil a más tardar el 22 de septiembre de 2023.
