Competency Development content

This page provides learning resources for all 24 non-technical competencies which comprise the Workforce Development (WFD) Continuum – an essential component of Career Compass, NAVFAC’s career development program.

Pages for each competency can be opened by selecting from the WFD Continuum image below. From there, employees can choose between the type of learning content they are looking for (infographics, podcasts, webinars, etc.) and the proficiency level most appropriate for them.

  • On-demand learning content designed for self-paced learning, including webinars, infographics, videos, and podcasts is available here AND in Waypoints.
  • Content organized by intended proficiency level, allowing employees to find content most suitable to them.
Looking for more ways to develop your career? Make sure to visit Waypoints and the Leadership Programs page for more. Want to browse competency content by type? Select from modalities below to get started.

Infographics provide a visual representation of information related to their topic of learning. They are often used in support of training activities, such as formal courses or independent studies, but may also be useful for employees as stand-alone resources.
