In this Independent Study, you’ll master problem-solving techniques to help you navigate your career and accelerate the NAVFAC mission. In Module 1, you’ll delve into the business case for problem solving and utilize a framework for identifying and tackling problems. In Module 2, you’ll learn and apply a step-by-step problem-solving model to manage obstacles in your own life.  And, in Module 3, you’ll learn three skills vital for effective problem solving and improve your abilities using practical application tips.

Typically, this program takes 6-weeks to complete. However, since it is structured as an independent study program, you can complete its activities and journal assignments in your own time and at your convenience. You are encouraged (though not obligated) to complete the program within the 6-week timeframe.
