Managing Conflict

DEFINITION

Handles and resolves organizational discord in a timely manner through assessing stakeholder perspectives and facilitating constructive dialogue. Identifies and defuses conflicts including those that have the greatest potential for damage to the organization.

You negotiate win-win outcomes in efficient and effective ways that are consistent with organizational values and objectives.

You are able to resolve conflicts arising at senior levels due to competing objectives, limited resources, or differing perspectives. You model conflict management techniques for others.
