CONTRACTING (CON)

NAVFAC HQ CON is led by the Assistant Commander under the authority of the Head of Contracting Activity, or NAVFAC Commander. CON provides contracting support and advice, ensures compliance, and establishes contractual practices and policies for all contracts awarded within NAVFAC and the Government Commercial Purchase Card Program. This includes pre-award and post-award contracting in support of the Fleet, the Commandant of the Marine Corps, other Department of Defense (DoD) components, federal agencies, North Atlantic Treaty Organization allies, and other alliances. Their responsibilities include contracting oversight, community management, advocating for the small business program and pre-award and post-award contracting.
