NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic Awards $60M Contract for Northern Waterfront Projects

NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded a $60 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract to Appledore Marine – CH2M JV, based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The multi-disciplinary contract supports various waterfront projects across NAVFAC MIDLANT’s northern area of responsibility.

NORFOLK, VA – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command Mid-Atlantic (NAVFAC MIDLANT) awarded a $60 million firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity architect-engineering contract to Appledore Marine – CH2M JV, based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. The multi-disciplinary contract supports various waterfront projects across NAVFAC MIDLANT’s northern area of responsibility.

The initial task order, valued at $4,415,404, has been awarded for the Berth 6A and 6C Pump Station project at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. The contract term shall not exceed 60 months, with project completion anticipated by September 2030.

Fiscal year (FY) 2025 Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic funds in the amount of $4,415,404 are obligated on this award and will expire at the end of the current FY. Future task orders will be primarily supported through Operations and Maintenance, Navy (O&M,N) and Military Construction (MILCON) appropriations.

Funding for the initial task order is provided by FY25 Commander, Navy Region Mid-Atlantic resources and will expire at the end of the current fiscal year. Future task orders will be primarily supported through Operations and Maintenance, Navy (O&M,N) and Military Construction (MILCON) appropriations.

This contract was awarded through a competitive procurement process conducted via SAM.gov, with two offers received.
