JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii – Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Hawaii awarded Jacobs/B&V JV, of Honolulu a $10,161,593 firm-fixed-price modification to a previously awarded task order for the Water Reclamation Facility at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, September 12.
The work to be performed provides for, but is not limited to, architect-engineering services to prepare a Design-Bid-Build construction package consisting of full plans, specifications, detailed cost estimate, and other services. The work to be performed provides a parallel redundant R-1 water reclamation treatment system to meet redundancy and reliability requirements of the facility National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System permit and to prevent illicit discharge. Parallel redundant treatment systems consist of new tanks, equipment, low-rise process buildings to enclose and protect equipment, and utility infrastructure. Tsunami mitigation measures, cybersecurity features, and Antiterrorism features are included.
Work will be performed in Oahu, Hawaii, and is expected to be completed by December 2025.
